Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: Have you ever made a Baked Alaska? If not, have you ever tasted one?

A: No and no! I would be quite intimidated to attempt to make one myself, and have never come across it in a restaurant. I’m sure I would be compelled to order it if I did see it on a menu. The closest I’ve ever come is a Mexican fried ice cream, which was completely delicious.

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: What is the most unusual vegetable you’ve ever eaten?

A: That’s an interesting question! Two come to mind – Cassava which is also referred to as Yuca, in the form of fries and once I had Fiddleheads, which as I recall are the leaves of a certain type of fern!
