Wednesday Q&A – 11/2/22

Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: I know we have both spoken about how we enjoy the speed of pressure cooking. On the opposite end of the spectrum, how do you feel about slow cookers?

A: Love them! There is something wonderful about spending 5 to 15 minutes in the morning and knowing that when dinnertime arrives, dinner will be ready and there will be enough food to feed an army!

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: I have this recipe I want to try that uses a pizzelle maker, but I don’t have one. I have been struggling with myself over whether or not to make room for yet another appliance that I may or may not use very much. Is there anything you are evaluating as worthy enough to take up valuable kitchen real estate?

A: We recently donated a piece of that kitchen real estate to the Ninja Cremi that I wrote about a few weeks ago – it definitely turned out to be worthy of a space! Since then, I haven’t given anything new much serious thought – you need to pace yourself with these things! Before I contemplate anything new, perhaps it is time once again to contemplate trying that crepe maker I so badly needed…. 10 years ago!
