Welcome to the place where your two bloggers ask each other one question each week. We hope you enjoy them as your learn a bit more about us – sometimes we even learn more about each other!
Ray’s question to Karen:
Q: Do you like to listen to music while working in the kitchen, or do your cooking creations require absolute silence and your undivided attention?
A: I love listening to music while cooking, although I don’t always remember to do it. The style of music varies with what I’m making and what sort of mood I’m in, but I will say that I specifically like classical when I’m working with dough as it seems to relax both me and the dough.
Karen’s Question to Ray:
Q: What is the most exotic cuisine you’ve ever eaten.
A: I guess the thing that would best apply here is alligator tail. It was prepared kind of like a southern fried chicken. You know that famous old semi-joke response to the question what does it taste like? Chicken! In the case of alligator tail it was absolutely true – and sort of tough chicken at that!
I only tried it the one time – I remember at the time thinking what’s the point? If I want something that tastes like chicken, I’ll just eat chicken!
