Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches – kid stuff, or bring ’em on?

A: I’m all about the PB&J! I’m really the only member of the household that feels that way, which is actually a good thing. I never have to share. Favorite J you ask? Black currant jam, which is not always easy to find, but always yummy.

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: Do you remember the Callard & Bowser butterscotch candy? It wounds me that it is no longer made. Are there any childhood treats that you mourn the loss of?

A: I have to say, I am not familiar with that brand of butterscotch. We were raised more on Brach’s butterscotch. It brings back great memories of my grandmother – of “From Angie’s Kitchen” fame – She often had a handful of them in her dress pockets ready to share with us.

As for something I miss… I have a ridiculous love for mints – so much so that it once earned me a nickname with a not so nice word in it. I earned that nickname and it still makes me laugh to this day, but that’s a story for another time. My go to mints for the longest time were Certs! They have faded away unfortunately and I still miss them!
