Wednesday Q&A – 8/11/21

Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: You’ve spent a lot of time recently working on the art of bread making. Of all of the kinds you have made so far, which one is your favorite?

A: For flavor I would probably say the bread I have made with Artisan Blend Bread Flour from Janie’s Mill. It is an organic blend Glenn and Warthog. Another delicious bread I recently made was Overnight Dutch Oven Bread from the Washington Post. It is a no-knead bread that also contains grits and flaxseeds. It is so delicious I think I’ll mix a batch tonight!

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: Have you ever made your own bagels?

A: I have not! I actually considered giving it a try several times during the past year, but haven’t gotten to it yet. It won’t be long before fall is upon us again – that might just be the perfect time to give it a try!
