Wednesday Q&A – 5/26/21

Ray’s question to Karen:

Q: Was there a particular food at your wedding that was so good you can still taste it to this day?

A: The cake! It was a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. I took a large chunk of it with me to eat on my honeymoon.

Karen’s Question to Ray:

Q: What is your favorite breakfast food?

A: I love breakfast foods in general, but I’d probably have to say French Toast and a side of bacon. I think when many people think of French Toast, they think of the kind with cinnamon and sugar and some syrup on the side. While I have warmed up to varieties like this on occasion, I’ll always take the French Toast we grew up with over that – it was simply bread dipped in beaten egg and milk and cooked in a pan greased with butter. Sprinkle on a little salt and you’re good to go!
